The producers of Thor: Love and Thunder recently declared that Natalie Portman will not only be on set for the Thor, the fourth movie, but she will also assume the role of the mythical hammer and heavenly powers.

The news of the female Thor returning as Portman’s character Jane Foster was communicated at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday and everyone was excited especially, women.

Also, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie will star alongside Portman. Fans realized that the King of Asgard would return as Tessa Thompson and she made the announcement at Comic-Con, that her character requires a queen, which makes her the first LGBTQ superhero in the history of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Other movies were also announced alongside Thor, Love, and thunder at Comic-Con. This series will release its fourth movie, which will return the character of Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster as a female Thor together with Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Taika Waititi, the director. The movie is expected to be released in 2021, influenced by the readings of Waititi of the mighty Thor movie series and the female Thor.

Portman posted on her Instagram page on Sunday concerning her new role uploading a picture she took with Chris Hemsworth and Thompson who have also returned to the movie.

Jane Foster has already been known by the readers of the comic book, as The Mighty Thor. Thor lost his power and abandoned his name. Foster then lifts the hammer and turns into the Goddess of Thunder and eventually picked Thor’s name.

Very less information has been revealed about the origin of the Thor: Love and Thunder story, although Portman released on her post on Instagram that she was excited at being the female Thor.

The announcement on Saturday made people very happy about what it represents.
